Ben Abergel embarked on his cinematic journey with a bold departure from medical school, driven by his inherent passion for storytelling through visual mediums. Graduating from USC with an emphasis in Virtual Production and cinematography. Ben is passionate about merging filmmaking with cutting-edge technology, such as motion capture, LED volumes, and generative AI to bring his vision to life.

His hands-on experience includes internships at Graphic India, delving into live-action development and production, and Lightcraft, where he honed his skills in aerial cinematography. Ben's leadership shines through his role as the Head of Production at Cinegogue, where he spearheaded a groundbreaking production program, overseeing the creation of two original short films, reflecting his unwavering commitment to nurturing talent and fostering creative projects within the cinematic community.

Currently, Ben is also part of the first-ever USC Virtual Production thesis, working on the project titled "Dr. Supernova's Evil Plan," showcasing his dedication to pushing the boundaries of innovation in the film industry.
